இலங்கை :கோகாகோலா மீது ஒரு பில்லியன் நஷ்ட ஈடு கோரி வழக்கு!

It has been decided to demand nearly Rs.1 billion as compensation from Coca Cola Company for the mass scale environmental pollution it caused due to a leak of oil from a damaged underground pipeline in its factory at Kaduwela. Also, the environmental protection license the company had been given has been withdrawn by the Central Environmental Authority.
The license has been withdrawn until an estimate of the damage due to  the oil leak has been released. It is said that drinking water pumped to Colombo and adjacent areas had been mixed with oil. As a result the supply of drinking water had to be limited  lankatruth.com/
