IM-B student hangs self over Facebook status
பெங்களூர்: ஃபேஸ்புக்கில் நண்பராக இருந்த இளைஞர் தன்னை விட்டுப் பிரிந்து சென்றதால் வேதனை தாங்காமல் பெங்களூர் ஐஐஎம் மாணவி விடுதி அறையில் தூக்குப் போட்டு தற்கொலை செய்து கொண்டார்.
When Malini read her boyfriend’s status on Facebook that wrote ‘Feeling super cool today. Dumped my new ex-girlfriend. Happy independence day.’ After reading this Malini was so depressed that she hanged herself in her hostel room.
ஜார்க்கண்ட் மாநிலத்தில் உள்ள ஜாம்ஷெட்பூரைச் சேர்ந்தவர் மாலினி மர்மு(23). அவர் பெங்களூர் ஐஐஎம்-ல் எம்.பி.ஏ. முதலாம் ஆண்டு படித்து வந்தார். அவருடைய ஆண் நண்பர் பேஸ்புக்கில் மர்முவை பிரிவதாகவும், இதன் மூலம் தான் சுதந்திரமடைந்துவிட்டதாகவும் ஸ்டேடஸ் போட்டிருந்தாராம். இதைப் பார்த்த மர்முவுக்கு துக்கம் தாங்க முடியவில்லை.
தான் விரும்பிய நபர் தன்னை கைவிட்ட சோகத்தில் இருந்த அவர் நேற்று கல்லூரிக்கு செல்லவில்லை. இதனால் அவருடன் படிக்கும் மாணவிகள் விடுதிக்கு வந்து அவரது அறையைத் தட்டியுள்ளனர். நெடு நேரமாகியும் கதவை திறக்காததால் சந்தேகம் அடைந்த அவர்கள் விடுதி பாதுகாவலரின் உதவியுடன் கதவை உடைத்தனர்.
அப்போது மாலினி மின்விசிறியில் பிணமாகத் தொங்கிக் கொண்டிருந்தார். இதைப் பார்த்த மாணவிகள் அதிர்ச்சி அடைந்தனர். பாய் பிரண்ட் கைவிட்டது தான் தன் தற்கொலைக்கு காரணம் என்று அவர் எழுதி வைத்துள்ளார்.
இது குறித்து தகவல் அறிந்த போலீசார் விடுதிக்கு சென்று மாலினியின் உடலை மீட்டு பிரேத பரிசோதனைக்காக மருத்துவமனைக்கு அனுப்பி வைத்தனர். மாலினியின் பெற்றோர் ரான்ச்சியில் இருந்து பெங்களூர் விரைந்துள்ளனர்.
பி. டெக் முடித்த மாலினி ஐஐஎம்-ல் சேர்வதற்கு முன்பு இன்போசிஸில் வேலை பார்த்துள்ளார்.
Bangalore: A breakup left a girl so depressed that she took her life by hanging herself from the ceiling fan in her hostel room. Malini Murmu was aan MBA student and was studying in the Indian Institute of Management, Bangalore. Malini was 22 years old and was a native of Jamshedpur, Jharkhand.

Malini did not attend the class also. When her class mates went to her room no. 421 to find out the reason of her absence of her class she did not opened the door. The students called the security and broke open the door where they found Malini hanging from the ceiling fan.
Police said that Malini has left behind a suicide note on her laptop in which she mentioned that her boyfriend had left her because of which she is killing herself. She even wrote that her boyfriend ditched her. Police said that her boyfriend was out of town and they had a bad argument that resulted into breakup. Malini’s body has been shifted to a mortuary. Police are waiting for her parents to reach Bangalore.
