Poornima Karunaharan : பாசிசம் வளர்க்க பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் தேவையில்லை. ஜனநாயக உரிமை கோரி கறுப்புப்பட்டி அணிந்து போராடுவோர்,  எதிரணிக்கும் அதே ஜனநாயக உரிமை உண்டு என்பதை மறந்து விடுகிறார்கள்.  இதற்குப் பெயர் தான் திமிர் என்பது.  இலங்கையிலுள்ள பல்கலைக்கழகங்கள் வன்முறைகளை வளர்க்கிறது என்பதில் எவ்வித ஐயமுமில்லை.  இதில் யாழ் பல்கலைக்கழகம் முதலாவது இடத்தை தொடர்ந்து தக்க வைக்கிறது.

I have been a member of many student unions and trade unions, in my lifetime. I studied and hold four qualifications from four educational institutions. Few of us take the lead and are active in these organizations. If the leadership is rotten, then that organization will also make incorrect decisions and just follow the leadership. In this instance the decision was idiotic and the relevant members of that union do not understand what free speech is. A university must entertain all speakers, then only the students can understand various opinions. You don't need to agree with all of them. I am a trade unionist, I understand the lady.
