thinathanthi :வாஷிங்டன், அமெரிக்க அதிபர் தேர்தலில் ஜனநாயக வேட்பாளர் பைடன் பெற்ற வெற்றியை தொடர்ந்து, டிரம்ப் பதவி விலக வேண்டியிருந்தது. ஆனால், தேர்தலில் முறைகேடு நடந்துள்ளது என குற்றச்சாட்டு கூறி வந்த டிரம்ப், தனது ஆதரவாளர்களிடையே வன்முறையை தூண்டும் வகையில் பேசினார் என குற்றச்சாட்டு எழுந்தது. அவரது ஆதரவாளர்கள் நாடாளுமன்ற முற்றுகை போராட்டத்தில் ஈடுபட்டனர்.  இதில் வன்முறை ஏற்பட்டது.  போலீசாரின் தடியடி, கண்ணீர் புகை குண்டு வீச்சு சம்பவங்களும் நடந்தன.  வன்முறையை தூண்டி விடும் வகையில் டிரம்ப் பேசினார் என கண்டனம் எழுந்தது.  இதனை தொடர்ந்து அவர் மீது கண்டன தீர்மானம் நிறைவேறியது.

அமெரிக்க செனட் சபையில் இந்த வழக்கு விசாரணை நடந்தது.  இதில், கடந்த ஜனவரி 6ந்தேதி வன்முறையை தூண்டும் வகையில் பேசிய டிரம்புக்கு எதிராக செனட் சபையை சேர்ந்த குடியரசு கட்சியினர் 7 பேர் வாக்களித்தனர்.

அவர்கள் ஜனநாயக கட்சியினருடன் இணைந்து டிரம்புக்கு எதிராக நின்றனர். எனினும் அவர் சார்ந்த குடியரசு கட்சியினர் பலர் டிரம்புக்கு ஆதரவாக வாக்களித்தனர். இதனால், செனட் சபையில் 57-43 என்ற கணக்கில் ஆதரவு வாக்குகளை பெற்ற டிரம்ப் குற்றவாளி இல்லை என தீர்ப்பு கிடைத்து இந்த வழக்கில் இருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்டு உள்ளார். இந்த கண்டன தீர்மான வழக்கில் இருந்து விடுவிக்கப்பட்ட பின் டிரம்ப் கூறும்பொழுது, நம்முடைய அமெரிக்க வரலாற்றில் பெரிய சூன்ய வேட்டையின் மற்றொரு கட்டம் இது. எந்தவொரு ஜனாதிபதிக்கும் இதுபோன்று நடந்தது இல்லை என கூறியுள்ளார்.
